Hi! My name is Sergio Garcia and I've been in the coffee industry since 2019. I started volunteering at a coffee bar in Az inside a church. Since then Ive beeing in everything from managing shops to owning one, roasting, etc. In 2020 during the pandemic i was able to buy my first espresso machine and taste coffees from all over the world (literally). From here in the states, Mexico, Copenhagen, etc. I thought I was just tasting what was out there but I was building my palette bit by bit.
Ive gotten the privilege of learning from some of the worlds best roasters! Rudy Altamirano from Illustre was one of my teachers I have been able to learn from. As well as Anne cooper, and others (including failure lol).
My roasting style rides a more modern wave. something between 3rd and 4th wave. trying to keep origin flavors in tact while being accessible. We lean more into light-medium to medium profiles.
